Capt. Ray, I'm in Douglas County, Wisconsin.
That is pretty funny you mention that Cardeer, because the other post I have about finding that deer on the highway happened to come after this one. Perfect timing. The winter is only beginning. I found somewhere between six and ten deer last winter. I've crossed blood trails this year, but figured I didn't need to follow them. It will be interesting to see what I come across this winter.
I still haven't scored the deer yet, but I will one of these days.
