yeah i fooked up and paid for a life membership back in the day when they first began. back then around 1986 or so they were more into hunting and conservation...now it seems like they've become too commercialized and strayed away from what i thought they were all about....but we all should have seen it coming. jackie bushman is an ex-tennis pro that never went anywhere with it. he started buckmaster right at the pinical of the deerhunting craze, got in on the ground level. i guess you could say he really took the saying "luck is where preperation meets opportunity" to an extreme...LOL. i am not at all happy w/buckmasters and would cancel my membership however a life membership paid for some 15yrs ago, im sure they'd fine something to fall back on to give absolutely nothing back.

Seriously now. What in the world could a person possibly learn from these guys? I have watched their show many times and every show is pretty much the same. They are always hunting some private game ranch where they have been set up and told exactly where to hunt by the head guide of the ranch. The only thing I have learned from watching their show is how to age class a buck. I can't imagine anything they could teach me about hunting in the REAL world!

sorry you all have had bad luck with them. the only thing i do not like about them is they keep sending things to me. about every hunting video you wach is a set up hunt in my opinion. i have never seen bucks like the ones killed in every video i have ever wached. i do agree with the cc problem.

They called me with the same old line I said no thanks and hung up.
Well a week or so later Racks Magazine arrived. The next week an invoice for membership arrived I just sent it back along with the magazine with the words I did not authorise this and do not send any more.
A couple of weeks go by and some idiot calls me demanding payment and wants my CC # there and then so I tell him I dont have a CC so he demands a check # once again I tell him I dont have a checking account.
I then ask to speak to his supervisor and blast the cap out of him and tell him if any one from there wants to make threats on me then by all means feel welcome to come to my house and make them, but never call me demanding money for something that I never ordered.

Wow, sounds like I wasn't the only one they Sc@@#$. The same thing happened to me. Got the phone call, said no, free mag, then the bill, then the credit agency looking for collections. It took 3 calls and a threat to call my lawyer to stop them.

kinda glad I am getting out b4 I even got in
I will be sure to post what happens if they try to force me into paying for anything by sending it anyway after I have already canceled.

I was a member years ago, never wanted to re-join, then last year I won a free, 1 year membership as a door prize at a event. So I filled it out and sent it in, I get about every other mag, and now they have this deal that if you are a member you get Jackies videos sent to you with out asking for them, if you dont want them they send you the materials to send them back, but if you keep them you pay for them. Well I have received 3 mags and 1 video in 7 months, I watched the video and never sent the payment, when they called me, I explained that I had not at any time ordered a video, and that because I was a member that does not costitute a "member benifeit" as far as I am concerned. I said that if I wanted a video I would order one, and to PLEASE not expect payment for something they concider a benifeit , that is nothing more than a way for them to squeeze more money out of people. I do not have the time to run videos that I never ordered to the post office for return when I never wanted it to start with. I also told them that any future deliveries that I get from them for products NOT ordered I will concider them to be GIFTS. I can say I have not received another mag or video since, when the original deal for the one year subscription was paid in full by the palce that held the event I attended. A complete BS RING headed by the BS Master.
