I am thinking of buying a whisker bisket for this fall and I undertsand the obviousadvantages the WB can offer (such as holding your arrow in place).
Does anyone have any other thoughts about them?
Does anyone have a reason not to use one?
I appreciate all your guys help.
Thanks,

I personally don't care for them. I don't think they are a very forgiving rest at all. They do hold the arrow on if you spot and stalk, but that is the only good point I see about them.
I would rather shoot off from the shelf or use a flipper rest to be honest.
Do a search, there is thread on this rest that is several pages long.

I agree with Paul...I am not crazy about them. When I had mine, it was constantly destroying the vanes and making the vanes wavy. I found myself having to refletch arrows quite often. I prefer the drop away arrow rests. A lot less arrow-to-rest contact and will get you a few more feet per second arrow speed (if you care about that sorta thing).

I started using one a few months ago and I think it great, also startedreplacing the vanes with blazer vanes . Ive had no problems with tear offs but I do put a drop of glue on the leading edge of each vane.
