G5 Montecs?

Default G5 Montecs?

hi guys i used to shoot mechicals but was thinking of going to G5 Montecs. Do they shoot like field points? I want the field point accerecy but want a broahead i can shoot threw mesh on ground blinds...

I like the Montecs, but have switched to the G5 Stiker. These would be good for shooting through mesh, they are scary sharp.. No joke!

If your bow is properly tuned......and your arow matches your set-up.....they should fly like field points. If it isn't.....they won't.

I know that sounds very simplistic.......because it IS.

Depending on the bow and the tune, you may get them to shoot to the same spot as field points. But even if you can't tweak things to make this happen, you can move the sights a littleand generally get them to shoot good groups.

depends on your bow tune, but when i shot montec i got a pass threw on an elk at 40 yards i love the one peice broadhead

As lots have stated already, if you bow is properly tuned you will get good accuracy and arrow flight. I shot montecs last year and thought the world of them. Great flight, awsome penetration and a super tough head. Like one of the others said, I to switched to strikers this year mainly because of the replacable blades.
