I jsut got some montecs the other day ( so i can sharpen them) i have noticed a whistleing sound. Any body else notice this not worried about the hunt my hoyt will get em there fast enough it wont matter

Yes, I just had a post the same as yours only a few days ago.. Not sure where it is now but some people have heard it and most don't think it will affect anything.. Mine also make the sound but I also have some Stingers and they are a little more quiet.
G%'s typical response is the "old ones" did and the new ones don't, if you hear a whistle sound then it's the fletchings... Whatever... That's why it only does it with that broadhead and no others..

Great broadheads minus the slightly louder flight noise...

Montecs definetly have a whistling problem with faster bows. I had the same problem a year ago, and at least five other people said they had the same problem.I haven't had a deer jump my arrow so i still use them. They'llget the job done.

I have the same issues... My Switchback XT sends those 100grat approx. 275 and I also get a whistle. Ive heard the older style without the chamfer on the inside of the blades caused this, but I have the newer ones and they still whistle?? Go figure?? This is having me double think mechanicals.
