Default Turkey Fan Mount Done

I got my plaque for my turkey fan and beards today from Dan (Bloodcreek). He did an awesome job. I have a few more beard to add to it but i dont want to use the shotgun shell hulls for the beards since the were bowkills.

Anybody got any other good ideas?

Not too shabby bud, I like the beard holders.

I saw a deal recently where an oversize string loop was put on the beard's "stem", and held on there with serving wrapped around the stem. It sort of hangs from the loop. Looks good - and has "archery kill" written all over it.

Once you add some more beards it should look great. It's a nice plaque and a great looking fan. Honestly, I'm not the biggest fan of tail mounts because generally if you've seen one then you've seen 'em all but that one looks pretty cool.

I have seen bowkill mounts where the guy cut his arrow off in front of the fletching, drilled holes in the shaft and mounted the beards in the arrow shaft. Made for a pretty cool mount.

Tie them to a broadhead and hang them. You must have a " few " retired broadheads that would work.
