Fair question!

There was a post a while back about someone shooting a deer that had gotten loose from a deer farm. People had no problems with that deer being shot by a hunter (had a tag in its' ear).

The collar is a little different, I "guess".....or, at least, it would be to me.

Hard to say....

I'd probably be so surprised......I'd let it walk. I NEVER thought I'd shoot a young deer, either......until I saw the piebald I shot, last year. I don't regret it a bit. I might shoota doe fawn or two, this year.......later in the year. I will get no pleasure from the act itself......other than knowing I'm doing the right thing by thinning the doe numbers.

That collar would probably make me think twice, though.....regardless of headgear.

That one is to young let it walk i would value the information that they get more. Its legal so make up your own mind as to whether you want to shoot it or not

If it were a mature buck and I knew it was legal, I would. Gotta figure if I don't, likely someone else will anyway.

It's likely that the amimal being killed by a hunter is the end result of the experiment. It mightshow how long a buck in the area will last.

Man, my eyes would light up at that sight. Think about it, a deer with built in grab handles for dragging. I think it would be a handy thing for them to collar all deer for we old crotchetty types.[8D]
