We use them for turkey decoys. The best ones are from a deer you shot (has the most luck, and it really works, i promise).

I've been thinking about making a striker with them. I have seen a lot of carbon strikers in the store and they honestly look like an arrow shaft. I'm not nearly experienced enough to re cut them and let someone else shoot them. I would be too afraid there would be a crack in them that I missed.
