broken arrows
has anybody found any unique uses for broken arrows ? Seems like there should be somthing that they could be used for [/align] |
RE: broken arrows
I use them for Turkey Decoys. I can get the turkey a little higher in the weeds.

RE: broken arrows
stakes to hold up plants, like tomatoes and pepper plants in the garden.
Yardage markers on my home practice range. perches for bird houses and bird feeders. Short sections of arrow shaft, put a long sheet-rock screw through the arrow shaft and screw it into the porch post. Now you have a bow hanger, the shaft protects your bow from the steel and threads on the screw. Kev |
RE: broken arrows
I've seen them made into pens. I used a piece of broken arrow to mae a cable spreader for reserving my string.

RE: broken arrows
If they were broken on an animal I incorporate them into the mount or just hang them alone and write on the fletching what they killed. Kind of a nice little momento I think.

RE: broken arrows
Along with the other good ideas you can also usethem to mount your broadheads when sharpening. That way you would have a good 6-8 inch handle on the broadhead when using the sharpener. Makea fewof them (short shaft w/insert)and you could mount all the broadheads that needed sharpening without having to remove each broadhead as it was done.
