I have not used these exact heads, but I have used ones similar. I think they are the Ultimate Steel heads or something like that. Any way they are a short head with small triangular blades, just no holes. They penetrate EXCELLENT! I have a low poundage set up with a short draw length and they work great. Not to mention they fly very well because of the low profile.

These actually look like a better design than what I used. As far as the knurled part, it is not bigger than the shaft of the head so it should not make any difference. It will slip through the hole the head and blades make. I would say it's there to give you a way to screw on the heads without using a broad head wrench or gripping the blades which is not to safe. I sort of like the idea myself. I might check these out.

I have had good luck with the Nail Driver mechanicals as well, but I don't think they make them any more.

Rocket heads or known for having good penetration and being well built heads.

I agree Paul. I love the Ultimate steels, they have 0 penetration problems and are super accurate. Just based on my expeiences with Rocket Broadheads mainly the Ultimate Steel 100's and Steel Head 100's, they are very durable, sharp, and accurate. This one immediately reminded me of the Ultimate Steel andI will probably try some out just because of the results I've had in the past withRocket.

On the serious side, I 100% agree with this statement... I've taken a TON of deer with Rockets.
