I think that is true for a lot of us. I did however get my frist late season buck this year, it was pretty exciting seeing a shooter buck in January. They look so much bigger!

Early season im used to seein a lot of big bucks roaming around in velvet. After the rut you just dont see quality bucks as often so its always more exciting when you do!

I usually do not have much vacation left by then an my time off is hit an miss not counting I hate hunting by myself in late season. This could change since I am getting my brother in the camp this year, so I my be hunting late season.
