Each time I visit my taxidermist the biggest racks he's got almost always come from the Vinyard or the Elizabeths. With the deer densities they have and the sparse habitat, it's amazing how big those racks get!
The biggest deer I think I've ever seen in Mass was standing on the shore of one of the Elizabeths as we were heading out striper fishing.
