well i liked it pretty good after seeing it actually and i ended up gettin' it. I'm unsure as to year model and name though. It only has the ZR200 on the limbs and that little medallion thing below the grip where it usually says the name just says hoyt usa on both sides. It's got the tec riser, mossy oak forrest floor camo(a few little chips where you cant really see them), and the cams are black so i dont think they are the slam 1/2 cams. If not would it benefit to upgrade? Holding it feels kind of like a Reflex buckskin or similar. It also has screw on limbsavers on the limbs, overdraw, hha clear hi-vis sight with level, 8 carbon arrows, quiver, and wrist strap. overall i'm happy but can anyone maybe help with year or name?

alright i got on hoyts site looking at their manuals. it looks as though a 2002 with VersaCam. the cams also say VC-2R. Is that a pretty good system or upgradable? if they are i might be interested in the slam and a half or similar setup being maintainence free. still dont know the name though. i'm thinkin magnatec maybe?

I sold a loaded up MT SPort with those limbs last year for $300. So if accesories are good the deal probably is pretty good. It's a nice entry level bow.

I actually liked the versa cam better than the cam and a half myself. I was going to get a Cybertec with the versa cam and they discontinued it before I could buy one.

I have the same bow and love it. It is a great entry level bow and is easy to work with. Like most equipment.......if you provide the proper care it will last you a good while. I on the other hand have put mine through the ringer but it works. It could stand a good run over by someone qualified to take a look, it cant hurt!

I have a co-worker that has a bow like that it is called the MT sport the bow had two choices of limb combos. I believe it shot around 220 amo with his setup. I think he got the turn key bow for around 450 or so.

with good maintainance and minimal abuse honestly how long do you think this bow would safely hold up for? too bad it cant be like my '53 Bear Polar and hold up that well.
