Default Zr200 or xt2000??????? magna tec

I plan to get another bow real soon in the next couple of days. There is something pulling me towards the hoyt magna tec. I am not sure which limbs I should get though. I know the xt' s are faster then the zr' s but which one is better for a hunting setup. I shoot a 3-D shoot most every saturday morning but I want a better hunting bow than a 3-D bow. This will be my first Hoyt. Please help me with your advice. zr' s or xt' s??

I would not sweat the difference between the limbs.I' ve shot them both and liked the performance from this bow.I have owned a magna tec since 99,but the new cam &1/2 impressed me enough to buy a new magna tec.For the money the magna tec is a very impressive bow, smoth quiet, very easy to tune, and accurate.I' ve been bowhunting for 15 years and this bow was the easiest I' ve ever tuned.I don' t know how much price difference there is between the limbs but I gave $298.00 for mine.I think Buckeye outdoors is getting $319.00.For the zr200 version.

The XT2000 limbs are the best limbs. That is what I got on my magnatec. Great bow for the money. I dont know much about the other limbs, I' m sure they are decent though. If the price difference isn' t much I would get the XT limbs for sure.

The ZR200' s are solid and dependable, just slightly lower in performance than the XT2000s. But the XT2000' s are a little more stable. It takes a pretty good tournament shooter to really tell much difference between them. If you shoot 3D seriously, then I' d say get the XT' s. If you' re just shooting 3D for funzies and want a solid hunting bow, then the ZR' s are likely as good as you need.

Im shooting a 2003 magnatec with cam.5 and zr 200 limbs and it shoots sweet, i think the xt 2000' s are rated at 10fps faster than the zr 200' s. I dont think u can go wrong with either limb.

Ive got two Magnatecs, one with each set of limbs. I can' t tell a bit of difference between the two. I love them both! Jim

I have a VorTec with zr200 limbs with the command cams. I have had no problems with the bow whatsoever! I can' t say which limb is better, because I have never shot the 2000' s, but can say that I have had no problems. It is a tack driver!

The ZR200 limbs are great limbs no doubt, but if you can afford the higher end XT2000 limbs, by all means go that route.

I found a great price on the 03 magnatec today a shop in butler pa. $369.98 for the xt2000' s!!! I am going to go pick it up this week end. Probally to late to have it all ready by oct. 3rd though.[:' (] I will not hunt with it untill I am hitting as good if not better than my current bow. But there is always a chance........I hope!
