Keep an eye of them Jeff, I'll be there in 7 days!

I watched a longbeard walk by the front of my house this morning, down my driveway, up the hill and over the knoll.....yes! I'm saving him for Matt/PA.

That first bird looks to have a great beard. Good luck.

Very nice. Last night I was at my local club sighting in the new 3D bow and there was a whole group of them back there gobbling their heads off just before dark. First ones I have personally heard this year and it sounded great. Currently I am job hunting and with any luck I may be able to work a deal that allows me the first full week in May off work before the new job starts..........[8D].

Rick James:

I know we've talked about a possible move, for you, to NC. If you're going to be coming to NC anyways......you COULD plan it around the May dates you're speaking of and get in a turkey hunt with me.

Invitation is there......

I really appreciate it. Not sure where we are moving quite yet, it looks likely that I may end up in Bradford County, PA in the same town my property is in instead right now, but NC is still in the picture. I will know more in the next month or so. There is another job I am applying for as a direct rep for an archery manufacturer that would be a dream job and may keep me in NY, not sure if that will pan out though quite yet. Thanks a ton, I really appreciate it. If I end up in PA, I will be about 45 minutes from Rob so if/when you come up to see him you guys will have another spot to stay and hunt as well.

Jeff,
You're not making it easy for the few of us who don't have a place to hunt turkey. (Found out this past weekend that the owner of my new deer hunting land doesn't allow turkey hunting.) Looks like you're going to have a good time, though.

I can't get on them where they are when these photos were taken (not that I'd want to set up THAT close to their roosting site)......but I CAN get to within 3-400 yds.

I'm hoping that's close enough......and I've seen them in the area I CAN hunt a lot, too. I'm gonna sit and wait on 'em!
