Jeff,
Did you lose track of which thread you were in? This one wasn't the golf comparison thread. I don't know about turtleshell, but I know nothing about golf.....

Related or dating. Don't stop though its much more fun to read this than the same old boring threads. I have to say though that I do agree with a lot that Atlas says.
Try it this way

I don't think a 1 year bowhunter considers himself and Elitetest. I think all of us are looking for best advice we can get.

Joe Brooks who has shot a pile of bucks and wrote a book uses the WB on his bow. I listen to him more than anyone. I could careless what he shoots when were talkin hunting. This is where Atlas is correct, but GMMAT is right on about asking the best archers use.

They both are right, they just really dislike each other, LOL

So Atlas and GMMAT lets end this, thank you

I'm just honest about it.

Sorry that my own thread got off track, Germ

No but I'm not a scratch player so using the same equipment that a scratch player does would not help me. Most average golphers wouldn't notice the difference between a $1000 driver and a $500 driver, same for archers and high priced bows and equipment. I just get the feeling that Atlas is right about the way you look at a select few on this forum. I may be wrong and if so then I apologize.

Turtle:

I ADMIT to lending more credence to what SOME members of this forum have to say regarding CERTAIN subjects.

For instance....

If someone makes a post asking for advice on how to get up-close and personal with a 4.5 yr old buck they've been hunting......you can bet your BUTT I'm going to look at that thread and go 'til I see GregH's response. WHY? Because he's proven...year in and year out....that he knows how and where to find them. Will I read all the responses? Probably. Will I wait on the edge of my chair for certain members to chime in?

YES.

If I had a Ford truck and needed a mechanic...Would I ask the Chevrolet Tech. where to take it for repair, or would I go straight to the Ford Tech who has repaired 5000 Ford trucks? It's all relevant to what you want done, how you want it done, what you need it for, ect.... Personally, I don't believe everything I read online. (Even on HNI.[:-]OMG did I just say that? LOL) I mean really guys, we are not looking for gospel here, (Unless it's MotownHonkey we're talking to, LOL), We are all looking for whatever will make us more successful, right? So, if GregH tells me a WB is gonna help me pattern a monster buck, am I gonna go buy one. Well, no. He has given some great advice on the buck hunting, but he's not evaluating products. ( hell, he still wears Trebark. LOL, No Offense Greg) Now if GregMO gave me the advice to use a WB because of ease of setup, and accuracy I would strongly consider trying one because he has been a great help in Product Evaluations. Do I not even consider every other HNI members advice? Hardly. I will take everyone elses advice, weigh it with those who are more experienced and then and only then make my decision. Am I going to still trust GregH if his advice does not work the first trip to the stand? Yes, because I am still not as experienced as him. Am I going to ditch the WB because I can not get it to tune. No, I am going to ask GregMO and others what's wrong and try to fix it.

Man, that was a mouthful. Now, Can we all just get along. Well, no, because someone here probably puts no value in my opinion. LOL Am I going to cry over it. No. Am I going to continue stating my opinion and experience. Why Hell Yeah. This is the best hunting site on the web. HNI RULES!!!!!!

OK, then, Atlas....we can do it your way.

Start a poll on what it takes to get close and get a shot at a mature whitetail buck.......say 3.5 yr old and older. Tell me you wouldn't weigh the comments, based on the poster (it's NATURAL).

For ****s and giggles.....why not post up your experiences to start us off on the right foot. I'm sure EVERY member will be on the edge of their seats at your response......and will put JUST as much credence in YOUR answer as they do gregH; Len; Davidmil and germs.

There's the Jeff we all know and loathe..........I was wondering how long it would take for you to show your true colors.

Now hurry up and go post in another thread about how insults are a sure sign of someone with nothing intelligent to say

They don't know.
Exactly my point..........They don't know and they are taking time out of their day to post something they believe is helping someone (That's what this forum is for ya know)........What if everyone thought/knew that there was a good chance their opinion was just gonna be discarded as trash because they are not worthy in the authors mind??.........Who would bother replying to threads??

Are you saying you'd take the Little League pitcher's advice on how to hit the slider? you'd lend it JUST as much credence as the ML hitter?

Honestly?????

Here's a hint...........if you don't want to hear from all the little leaguers then DON'T ASK THEM..........Pretty simple to understand.
