Different view points of the STS

RE: Different view points of the STS
I put a front mount STS on my Parker last year and think it's great !
As for the Windstalker , I havn't heard much of anything good about it . I heard that if you don't get it tweaked properly , it chews up cables . I have no experience with one and don't plan to have any !

RE: Different view points of the STS
I'm liking mine that I have on my XT.
Think about this though...ifhaving them onwas detrimental to your bow, would Hoyt and (*I think*) Ross have them factory installed on their new lineup? I don't think so.
Plus, I'm sure there are other bows that have had these things come factory installed on their new models.

RE: Different view points of the STS
Paul, thanks for the link. After watching the videos it reinforces my view of the STS and other string suppressors in that you can clearly see that the string oscillation is much less with it than without that the the length of time that the string oscillates is much less.
I am a big supporter of these devices and will most likely use them on any bow that I have. I do not think they are a silver bullet or make me shoot 1/2" groups at 80 yards, but I do believe that they will help reduce noise and vibration on most bows when set up properly.
