I wouldn't worry about shooting a little high at 10 yards the amount of shots u have at that range in the woods isnt' to often and even if it is just aim a little low it is better to have as few pins as possible and inch or two isn't gonna be bad in height because u have more than that for lee way when u take a shot at the vitals

I wouldn't sweat it at all unless a 10 yard shot happened when I was 25' up a tree, then I'd aim low.
Most of my hunting is from blinds & 10 yards happens more than I like. That 2" wont matter a bit on a broadside, that close I tend to try for heart shots anyway so if I'm high I drill the lungs.

My top pin is set for 30 yards. The difference at closer yardage is small so little compensation is needed. However I don't hunt out of tree stands but if I did I would probably have a 20 yard pin.

Your bow definetly isnt too slow...260 fps??? My bow is a lot lower than that and i still feel I can shoot a bigger animal than a deer at longer ranges. You just gotta practice and see exactly where the arrow will hit at different yardages.

i shoot at 260fps also...i went with 15, 25, 35, and 45, 55 i gapped up there but never shot passed 40 yet..i figured my average hunting shot will be within 20. figured most will be 10-15yds. no worrying about that inch or 2 for me...also i noticed im only a hair low at 20 with my 15yd pin...wierd but its true..maybe an inch..but all my pins are gapped the same amount...or atleast they look it...and my 25 and 35 shoot true. ill probably stick with my 15,25, 35yd pins next year...unless i goto a slider...which i will keep set at 15 or 20..

I just set all my pins today(only had the 20 done) Well I was very impressed with bow flat my bow was shooting. I have one pin for 0-30(about 2" low at 30). One for Past 30-40. And then the bottom for 40-50. After shooting at 50yrds today, 20 almost seemed like cheating[8D]. This long distance practice is gonna be fun. I haven't shot through a crony yet, so I have no idea how fast I'm shooting.

i shoot a bow that only throws arrows 218fps. so your not to slow. you just need to work with shot location dead on at a 30 yrd pin shoot low at 25 dead on at a 20 yrd pin shoot high at 25 yrds its all in practice or adding pins possibly the slower the arrow the more pins you need to be "dead on"
