Default Latest Shed Antler Hunt (Pics)

This past weekend, my wife (Casi) and I were able to do some shed antler hunting with our good friends, Jody and Alicia Hadachek. Unfortunately we didn't find as many as well expected, but were able to find 13-14 for the weekend. (I later found out the spots have previously been walked)

We had a great time and was able to get a lot of awesome(and hillarious)footage for our upcoming "Rut Junkie" Video.

This deer lost it's antler in a tree. This is how we found it

BIG Rub

Nice pics Joey - looks like you guys have some genetics running in the herd for palmation between Left G2-G3.

That shed with the split brow is gonna be a hammer next fall.

Do you think maybe a squirrel or a raccoon may have dragged that one shed up onto the limb? That's pretty crazy. ...and that's a beast of a rub too. Nice pics man - thanks for posting.

Thanks! I'm not sure on the antler in the tree. The antler was about the same height as the deer head would be. It was an older shed that has been chewed on, so i'm not sure whether it was chewed on and then carried up the tree, or lost in the tree and then chewed on. I guess we'll never really know.

The Big Rub is actually in the background of the picture with the Tree-Shed.

Great finds, hell of a rub. Man, consider yourself lucky. 13 or 14 in one weekend is more than i can find in two seasons. Get that bigun this season.
