Kinetic energy
guys i feel dumb for asking but what is the equation for figuring out kinetic energy, i shoot a vectrix at 28" 67* 387 grain arrow(give or take a grain or two) @ 287 fps, i was just curious what kind a kinetic energy im producing?

RE: Kinetic energy
Formula for kinetic energy...... Take your total arrow weight in grains and divide it by 450435. Then Multiply that by the speed of your bow squared.
Example: 387 grains/ 450435X 287fpsX 287fps= 70.7689 ft. lb. of KE
