Where can I find some maps online of public land? Im looking for northeast Kansas specifically. I checked out the KS dnr site, but didn't find much. Thanks

Try calling the dnr maybe they can help. I know in my state i got some maps directly from there office but they are not offered on line ,they might just mail you them ?

They might not be all that good either, Ohio's has plenty but not good. I just buy them, the last came from terraserver.com.

You can also visit usgs.com and type in the information..

Just try to get an address off of a residence or business near the public hunting land you want to hunt. Thenenter it into any of the map sites like:

Google Earth.com
Windows Live Local
Flash Earth.com

If those don't work just google the keywords and it will lead you to the the map sites. Once you get close with the address you can usually pan the map to find specific areas you may want to hunt or scout.

Trust me when I say this. Google Map. It's free just download it. I have printed hundreds of real photos off the program. Really it works. Helped me get a nice ten a few yrs back in WI.
