I know a few of you know what I mean but you could not believe the deer these areas produce. My spot isnt necessarily urban, its in the "country" so to speak but there are houses and the deer know the peoples limitations so to speak. My absolute best spot is 100yds from 1 house and 150 from another. Heres a pic of the closest house. Sorry for the quality it was with my phone, but you can make out the clearing that the house sits in and the 4wheeler trail.this is the place all of my pictures come from. Heres a pic of a buck that was in there this summer. When the leaves are on the trees the deer will actually hold in there. ALso heres an areial view.

Yep, they are typically the areas that guys just don't want to hunt because they don't believe there are deer in the area. Almost all of my hunting is done on property that is between an airport, a prison, and is surrounded by houses and bordered on oneside by the highway. My favorite part of this area is a piece of brush that is probablly less than an acre or two in size and sits right off the edge of a well traveled road. This patch of brush has a culvert ditch in it that has crab apples growing above it and the deer bed in that area. As far as potential for antler size goes, my game cam pics from this past season show just what these areas hold.

These pics are from a 100 acre patch of property that are between the above mentioned airport (south)and prison(north), the west side of the property has a highway and across the highway is a small tech. college as well as several business and the east side has a housing development.

i hunt in the actualy city im abot 45 mins from any country area but where i hunt its about 10 acres of woods in the middle of 4 roads and the deer are huge and they usally get hit by cars and wounded so the racks are always growing odd its amazeing i love it

one of my stands is 50 yards from the edge of my deck. took my first deer with a bow back there this year. the deer are always there, theres a lot of acorns and they go nuts with that stuff. there are8 houses within probably 200 yards of my stand.

Try hunting on LongIsland. Its commonplace to see some one shower to the east, eat breakfast to the west and have a 130 come in between the two houses fron the north, LOL

I wouldn't call my place urban, but I've taken my largest buck ever 150 yards from my back door. I actually think that the family being outside alll summer gives me a little advantage into early season due to the deer getting a little use to my scent, but that only lasts until I pop the first doe in the crowd. They definitely don't mind the kids on the trampoline for whatever reason.
