I've tried that one but I keep getting an error message saying "Unable to register application" and it won't install for me.

There are several quality screen savers here on HuntingNet. Simply click above on the "Interactive" link (above) and then select "Desktop Backgrounds" and you'll have dozens of great screen savers available, ALL FREE.

The error has something to do with Active X issues...

I don't know, I didn't have any problems. You might have to update to the newest version on Active X. I'm not really sure how that works.
