I thought the more open design of the riser would make it harder for animals to recognise as a bow. that part i didn't mind but it didnt go any faster than last years bow tech bows so ill pass, thanks any ways.
Are you serious about that first comment? And second speed isn't everything. I shot this bow a few days ago, and it has virtually no hand shock and is hands down the quietest bow on the market. And it shoots the same speed as your switchback.
To answer the question tho, I think opinions changed because they were used to certain desings and such, and when something new came out many didnt know what to think of it. Then people started shooting the bows once they came outand realized how sweet most of the new bows really were.
