Is the kid left handed by chance?? I have my step-sons like brand new Hoyt. Used very little. Comes with 2 sets of cams top pounds range from 15-40 depending on cams. Not sure of draw lenght would have to measure.

I was gonna hold off and sell on Ebay closer to the season..he was never interested at the younger age ..now at 14 wants to start and the bow is a little small for him now..he is tall and lanky

We bought our son a Parker Buckshot...shoot real good and I like the fact I can upgrade the limbs so he can grow into it.

A trykon sport is what i bought my girlfriend. She is about the size of a 10-12 year old person. but this bow will be perfect for her. I have heard that they shoot really well and are quiet

The Hoyt Trykon Jr. is an awesome bow and one of THE best bows EVER offered to the Youth shooters/hunters. This amazingly versatile bow features an incredible 8" of draw length adjustability on EVERY model! That is a bow that can fit a lot of folks for a long time. It's also available in a 20, 30 and 40# model. You've got to take a serious look at 'em. I know I'm proud of Hoyt for finally taking youth shooters seriously and offering them a REAl bow and not simply a skimped and cheapy version of a "good" bow. Kudos to Hoyt!

Bought a Parker Buckshot for my 14 year old daughter; small, petite frame. We started out with the 20-30# draw weight, once she max'ed out, we sent it in for the 30-40# upgrade. She is now pressing me for the 40-50# upgrade!

The nice features of this bow is the adjustable draw length (10") and the draw weight upgrade is only $49. Your buddy won't have to go out and buy a new bow each time his son needs to bump up the poundage. The "Grow up with Parker" program was the first of it's kind to promote this feature. I personally think it is great as we currently do not have enough youthbeing brought in to the hunting world.

Jen's Buckshot is very quiet, the arrow striking the target is louder than her bow. She is slicing vanes and shooting off nocks during every practice session! Keeps Dad busy repairing and building arrows, but I'm not complaining.
