Here is one where the carrier is open all the way and how it looks after leaving the front of the track. In most cases, the 2 halves totally seperate but are easy to find again about 15 yards in front of you after the shot. Just pick them up and reload. If you lose them, don't worry, theywould beinexpensive to buy more.

Designer,
I would build a website for this if you don't already and host your video and other pics and info on it. You could then email companies, and with a click of a button, they could see your product. It might help where mailing the DVD it takes the person to take the initiative to play the DVD. Just a suggestion. I sure hope it gets marketed, I would buy one and keep one bow set up with it all times. Good luck and thanks for posting.

There are quite a few people interested in the ShotBow.

One thing I forgot to mention that I feel will inevitably happen. I realize many people want to see more archery on television. This just might be the ticket. Myself and others foresee trap shooting competitions televised. There would be several cameras involved with bleachers behind the firing line filled with spectatorsand 5, 10 or 15 archers competing at one time. There is a lot of action when people blast clay pigeonsout ofthe air, especially with a bow instead of a shotgun. Much more exciting than trying to televise 3D competitions where a group of shooters enter the course and spectaters do no see them until they are finished.

Dove shooting in the field would make a great show as well.

Wow, watched your video. Thats pretty wild. Interesting...

I'm just curious...HOW is your crossbow model SAFER than coventional crossbows?

I'm asking b/c I am a former NYSDEC employee who is a supporter FOR the crossbow here in NYS and have followed the crossbow debate for decades AND has done some extensive testing with several crossbows myself (Horton, Hunter and Excaliber).

Thanks Scoobiedoo

The bows I have created are safer than all the rest simply because for the first time in archery, the hunter or target shooter is safe from the loaded arrow because it istotally enclosed. With all other bows, you are only protected from the arrows in your quiver. The arrowrests on my designs are 2-sided which means the loaded arrow is sandwiched between the 2 track halves.

The crossbow in the video is one that shoots arrows. It is a simple barrel change for shooting shot. Crossbow trap shooting competitions will be a big hit as well.

Sweet. Now if we can JUST get the crossbow legalized here in NY to START with would be a nice accomplishment. People 'fear' what they don't know and understand...

more of an idea. camera holder. I took a $20 tri-pod from walmart and removed the three legs and attached a c-clamp w/muffler clamps. Then painted. It functions great. A narrow stand, or big hunter does limit mobility a little. my camera is a view cam so it has a small screen to view from the side. camera holderhas all the functions minus the 3 legs. raise, lower, and pivot. Have had this probably 8 years. a few years ago I saw same idea in hunting magazine. Guess I missed the boat. You may need to adapt how you attach if your platform is cast like a Lone Wolf.

I used the 3 legs to make asingle shooting stick and bi-pod shooting stick. didn't post here in bowhunting.

You are so right that people fear what they do not understand.
