I would base your blind decesion on a few things. First of all, look at how much your going to use it. If you are going to hunt from it almost all the time, then I would invest in a Double Bull. If your like me and only hunt from a blind a couple times a year (when bowhunting turkeys), then I would invest in something cheaper. I can't justify spending that kind of money on something I will only hunt out of a couple times year and on an animal that can't smell. I would rather invest in a couple of nice treestands. So to answer your question...look at how your going use your blind, then look at how your Ameristep will fit your needs. If it won't, then get a Double Bull..if it does, then it was a good choice.

well i do plan on getting a double bull in the future unless something better comes outbut right now i am still young and just want to invest insomething that will get the job done but has some features to it and isnt no 400 dollars...but i guess its to late now i already got my intimidator by ameristep and hope to get a pig from it this weekend and then maybe some turkeys during spring....
i like the blind theres just little things that bother me and that is like something tearing but im just thinkin worst case scenario but then to the other day when iwas setting up my blind getting ready for some pig hunting the wind was so bad when i had just set it up and got the ties the wind took it rolling a good 10 yds and then it landed upright again but nothing happened to the blind it just scared the @#@# out of me

I hate to say this , I have an ameristep and a double bull , the double bull is far and away supior to the ameristep , not even close , my advise , sell the ameristep and get a double bull , I ended up useing my ameristep as a tent to cover a generator , it worked great in that capasity . The first time out in my double bull I had 15 hogs within 20 yards , and killed one on my first sit .
