davidmil, I wasn't around for that!! All I can say is..... that is one heck of a shot. The images don't bother me in the least.Your photos are no more disrespectful to the animals than someone parading around with the deers antlers in there hand going.............LOOK WHAT I KILLED!!!!!

To say you hunt for the pleasure of killing really sounds kind of morbid. If you just wanted to kill stuff why not just sit outside behind your house with a bag of corn and shoot every bird/squirrel that comes by! I'm sorry but I do not think that the Nuge is a very intelligent man. He proves it over and over by his actions whether it be shooting the lamb or using racially charged lyrics at an election party. If the anti's are ever able to bring down hunting it will be with the help of people like Ted. If you already were a hunter and didn't mind seeing the killing of animals all you saw his shooting of the lamb was his attempt at publicity. IF, however, you were the 75% of America that didn't know what to think about hunting and you saw him kill that lamb, then you probably thought "Do I really want to support something by this slightly deranged human being". All he did was lose us more support for hunting in the U.S. of A!

I think the anti's and the people in the middle will think the same thing they do when they see the kill photos we so proudly make as our avitars and post on this forum. Were hunter's, there is a point were we need to stop trying to please everyone. That is the reason our country is in the shape it's in.

he is trying to educate people who has never given a thought to were there beef or any other meat comes from. The reason people are against it is b/c there ignorate to what really happens.
My wife had never given thought to were her beef came from, didn't care. I asked her to eat deer meat one time and she started gagging and acting crazy. She told me what she had seen when she was younger and why she couldn't stand the thought of eating deer. This bothered me, I decided that I was going to fix her problem or make her a vegetarian. After a couple of butcher video's......she eats deer meat now and really likes it. She also thinks our method of harvest is better than the butcher's. Just my .02, all people have oppinions.;)

Unfortunately if you don't take into account what other people think you will find yourself without a place to hunt. If we don't respect the thoughts of those we disagree with then we are no better than the people of PETA! I'm not saying we should all hold hands and sing songs but we can't just ignore the majority. If we do then all is lost. The pictures posted on this forum are for the most part tasteful and not morbid. It also is different because we are not national figures. Ted is... but he refuses to be responsible about it. If you asked a regular person off the street to watch Ted's actions and then describe what he/she thought about hunters you would not be happy with the response. We would be seen as racist, morbid, and slightly off the rocker. Is that what you want hunters to be seen as? I sure don't!

Then was it beneath the Nuge just to take them to a slaughter house to see what is going on? Wouldn't of nailed the point home a lot better than his actions.
