Default my new years resolution was to kill a deer

with my bow.

i have vauge plans, but i'm also in the middle of trying to buy a house. this is going to be stressful but i'm going to give it 100%. That means getting stands put up on our land, and putting in A TON of time on the public land in my county.

Wish me luck, guys.

What state are you in? With buying a house remember it means more work.

You'll be able to find time, you just have to prioritize.
My resolution was to quit smoking AND kill a buck w/ my bow. It's been 2 years with no buck. Just does.

Your resolution was to kill a deer,..... just ANY deer or are you talking about a deer in particular??? Good luck either way but I certainly wouldn't stress much over just ANY ol' deer, it will be easy enough.
