What do the numbers like 2314, 2615, 2214, 2213..... mean?

What are the differences between xx75 and xx78

The Numbers are the circumfrence of the arrow, how big the arrow is... Someone else can probably explain that better..


The xx75 and xx78 are the different type of aluminum that Easton uses to make those arrows. That is why xx78 is typically more expensive because it is a higher grade of metal... That is what I have been told, I am sure someone will come by and clarify it all for us. but this is a start!

The first 2 number on the shaft is relating to the Outside Diameter in 64ths of an inch. The last 2 numbers are relating to the Wall Thickness of the shaft in Thousandths of an inch.

Example:
2413 actually means 24/64 outside diameter and 13/1000 wall thickness.

The XX75 or XX78 is the grade of aluminium used which are actuallyT7075 and T7178 with the higher numer being the slightly higher grade.
