Funny, i have been throwing around ideason this thelast couple weeks and have made a few phone calls about it. years ago a club i shot in had made there own layered targets befor they were even on the market. they built a frame out of treated lumber and compressed the foam with all thread rods. the targets were around 3'X3' I happened to see some foam in the back of an archery shop a couple weeks ago around 8'X12"X1/4" and ask where they got it. they gave me a phone # and i called the guy, ended up being a target manfacturer that was somewhat local. i did not even know it was there. the guy was getting ready for theA Ttrade show and told me to call him back when he gets back, that he could fix me up with enough foam (reasonable) to build a 3'X3' target. Im wanting to afix it im my backyard and enclose it with pole building tin and roof ,with doors that open to keep it out of the weather. if it works out, i will post pics latter.

I have always wanted to try that. But would the fiberglass in the insulation ruin the arrow?
