If you come to this site just to visit the message board forums, bookmark to favorites your preferred forum. I never enter through the front door (home page) and I never get pop ups. Now todays problem is this password request that you have to delete 20 times for the board to work. I'm sure somebody is working on it. I also agree that this is the slowest board I visit.

Thanks, Nub, I thought it was only me that got that password request, I was resetting my browser settings to try to clear it up. I'm having a weird problem on a Diesel forum as well, so I thought it was my browser.

Have you guys tried logging out? It won't let me do it. It says I have logged out successfully, then pops up that I am logged on as comndr45 without me doing anything. Something is screwy.

I'm on a T1 and this sight is so slow that sometimes it won't even load. Worst performance of any site on the internet that I've been to.

I agree, WAYYYYY to slow. When it's like this, I go to a different site, thats what good all that advertizing does, drive people to diff sites.

I am a communication tech. and can tell you it is probably the T1 provider. It happens everyday on phone systems and data servers. some worse than others (Qwest, Adelphia, MCI)
I am also on dial-up, too far in the country for the fast stuff and I have IE6 and occassionally have to do cleanup, scan disk, and defrag, before it comes up.
I also still get pop ups.
