Default accessing huntingnet

Is anyone have trouble accessing HuntingNet? The past week I can't seem to access this site without continuously refreshing. I have e-mailed the web master 3 times and they first said it was my browser. I have IE 6.O so thats not the problem. They have yet to respond with any other solution. It may be just a coincidence but all this started right after I started seeing that pop-up when I frist access the site. I've been coming here for maybe 3 years without a hitch.

I'm posting this message on as many forums as possible to see how many are having this problem. After 7 years I find a good hunting site with more tech information then I can possably use and now I can't even access it. Unbelievable. What is it? Bigger server? Too many pop-ups? Too much advertizing? You mean the wizzards that run this site didn't see this happening months ago? If I sound frustrated your right. What good is all the info if you can't access it or you spend all your time refreshing in order to move around the site. Hello? I'm OK now. Breathhhhh. Maybe some will read this and fix the problem. JERRY

I AGREE THE SITE SLOWED WAY DOWN WHEN THEY STARTED WITH THESE DAMN ANNOYING POPUP ADS. AS WITH MOST COMPANIES THESE DAYS THEY HAVE YET TO RESPOND TO ANY OF MY EMAILS. QUESS I WILL HAVE TO SWITCH TO SECRETS OF THE HUNT WITH DAVE. DONT KNOW WHY THEY THINK THEY NEED ALL THE POPUPS THE SITE IS A MAZE OF ADVERTIZING NOW

I have a cable modem and out of all the sites I visit this one is by far the slowest. I tried accessing this site from my office the other day and gave up on it.

As I said on the other forum, my 56k dial-up is working fine and never a problem moving through this site. If, by some chance my computer does get slow to respond, I just shut down and restart and all is well. And I am in here 2-3 times a day.

The best of luck in all your hunting endeavors!!!

God Bless,
Dave

Kaos is right. I have a cable connection and this is the slowest site I've found on the entire internet. The board was down for maintainence a couple months ago and the site loaded faster for a few weeks but it still wasn't "fast". Now it is back to a crawl, even on cable.

Well it took less than 10 seconds to switch pages for me, so if this is slow, than I guess I am just used to it.

The best of luck in all your hunting endeavors!!!

Dave

Another thought, if you don't do a regular PC maintenance, then it might be your PC. Before I log off, I delete: cookies, temporary internet files, and history. If this does not help, Delete any unnecessary files or downloads. Do a disk clean-up, full scan-disk, defragment files.

The best of luck in all your hunting endeavors!!!

God Bless,
Dave

I GOT A REPLY TO MY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE POPUP ADS AND THE REASON GIVEN WAS "ITS PAID ADVERTIZING AND THATS WHAT PAYS THE BILLS"
FUNNY THOUGH THE ADS THAT HAVE BEEN THE SOURCE OF ALL THE PROBLEMS ARE FROM HUNTING NET .COM HAWKING THE BOOKS AND VIDEOS WHAT DO THEY DO SEND THEIR SELVES A CHECK OR WHAT AND TONIGHT WHEN I FINALLY GET ON THE PAGES ALL HAVE ERRORS ON THEM WELL SUPRISE SUPRISE. MY VOTE DUMP THE POPUP ADS

Well, here at school we have ethernet, so its fast, but at home we have dsl. Now dsl should be fast but, when the popup comes up, the page quits loading, i let the page sit there for 45 minutes one night and it never loaded, and never came up as page cannot be displayed. maybe its my provider, but my vote is also cut the popups.

Shoot straight and shoot often.
