I'm sure I could have talked about this in one of the other threads but I didn't want to hijack it. My plans for this year is to cary a gps with me during scouting and log trails, bedding areas, food areas, and other deer sign. Once I have all of these waypoints stored for a certain area I plan to overlay them on a topo map. Once these waypoints are mapped and I'm comfortable with my findings I will pick the area I'm going to hunt from the topo map. I think this will help me get the big picture and be more percise in determining what the deer are doing. I would like to know if anyone else does this and if you have had success from it.

I have not done it but it sound slike a good idea.
