I have been shooting one for at least 10 years and my Outback is the 3rd bow with a MZE and I have never ever had any string wear or any problems at all. It has always been a piece of cake to set up and tune. I can't imagine me ever using another rest.

no problems after 3 years using one .
It was simple to set up if you watch the vid.
