Clint, it was mostly chewed up rabbit. But those grays are really nice. If you have a in town tannery thats great, you'll get your hides back quicker. Furs for Fun take about 3 months, but they are reasonable, 14 dollars for fox and they do a pretty darn good job.
I stuck my first yote this year with my bow, shot em with my gun, never my bow. Had a shot at one 4 years ago, but I misjuded the yardage and shot right at its feet!

My area is over run with foxes, it's rare to go on a bowhunt and not see one. Thats probably why we have very few ground nesting birds or rabbits left. In MD you need a permit to shoot them. I didn't get the permit this year so I didn't shoot any, next year I am going to try to thin them out a bit.

Cpowel10, I am sorry about how harsh I was in my eariler post. I read them again and realized I was in the wrong with my attitude. I really don't understand why to kill something w/o eating it, BUT, no matter what, I was wrong and want to apologize publicly to you.

old, I apologize to you for giving you the PETA website link ... I really was just trying to be funny. The anti's are looking to eliminate our sport, and we need to be united ..... not divided.
