Not sure if congrads is in order. How does fox taste? I'm am sure you eat fox since you shot one.
I suppose they taste about like a coyote. I imagine everybody that shoots a coyote eats them also.

Congrats on 2 fine foxes. I would like to get one some day, but I have never seen any where I hunt.

Is it my understanding that a Red's and Greys come from two different families? One is from the feline and one from the canine? Probably why one is more aggressive than the other and might account for size comparisons?

I believe you are right. Thered is from the dog family and the gray is from the feline(cat family). I THINK!!!! This is not gospel.

mobowhunter, greys have red tints, but notice the red in rob/pa's photo, no grey. notice the white tipped tails in all the red's photos too.

They had a grey fox on the Today show this morning and said it was from the canine family even though they do climb trees.

That's the way I thought it was too even thought the red is bigger. I wasn't sure that's why I asked. Is the Red then a definate of the feline family or are they both from canine?
