OK, after some research, they are BOTH in the canidae family, which is K9.....

I have only killed one and that was with a 30-30 about 5 yards away...long story.

Clint, nice job, fox, both gray and red don't get real big, 10lbs is big. I trapped several last year and the biggest was 10lbs 12 oz and it had a entire cotton tail in its stomach.

I keep looking at it, and I still say HIS is a red....Hers is a grey no doubt.....
They were both grey's....im 100% sure! mine was a little rougher than hers, with not near as much white. thanks for all the congrats guys, i would of gotten a full body mount but he said $475

Great job on those fox! I do believe I'm a gonna stick me one next year for a full body mount!..... and some jerky?

thanks, 10 pounds is a really good one! he must of had a huge mouth to get a cottontail in! i would send it to Furs for Fun but ive already sent it to the local taxi.

Never had any desire to shoot a fox or a bobcat, too pretty to shoot just for the sake of killing something, but coyotes are a problem around here, if I see one, Im gonna send a muzzy his way
