If it were my first deer. NO, I would probably be shaking too bad from buck fever 
I shook so darn bad the first time out bowhunting and that was with deer about 60 yards in front of me. Haha
But seriously. In my first few years of hunting he would have been down for sure. Now I would double think it, but he would probably be down.

Like most, I'm guessing around 2-2.5 year range. I haven't taken a too many bucks in my 10 years of hunting, but with this one I'd let him grow another year to see what he became. He looks like he has some potential. In situations like these, its all up to the individual as to whether or not to shoot. I shot a 10-point 2 weeks ago that wasn't all that huge, but he was my first buck with my ML and I was extremely happy with him, whereas some other people may have passed him up.
