Has anyone shot this bow yet?

HCA Sidewinder. I shoot a High Country Carbon Four Runner. The place where I bought it don't sell HCA anymore. Closest place about 1 1/2 hrs away. With all the talk of shooting different bows,I just wondered if someone had given this one a evaluation yet. They make one with an aluminum riser(3.9lbs) and one with a carbon graphite, split limb(3.2lbs).Kind of looks similar to the switchback without the string dampeners, different style cam. Haven't been to shop yet to shoot one of these.
Anyone who has shot one of these, just wanted to know your thoughts!
Thanks!

So, nobody has ever shot one of these....Hmmm.
Is it that there isn't enough shops carrying this brand to test shoot?
Just looked like they did a major overhaul on these bows, figured someone would of at least tried it.
Thanks

HCA isn't as popular as they once were.
Being known for shooting extremely light arrows that cause their limbs to explode during demonstrations didn't help them gain anything as far astheir equipmentgoes.
I rarely hear people talking about their bows anymore, let alone know of any local shops that carry their line.
Sorry.

i haven't shot that model but i've shot several others in the last year. HCA pride thermselves on making a fast bow, but using the short brace heights make their bows extremely critical.ALL the models I've shot had a TON of hand shock and were pretty loud. I recommend that people shoot every bow they can before purchasing, but HCA is a brand that IMHO could be skipped altogether.

HI
I have beenshooting the carbon 4 runner from 1999 when they come out
when the Sidewinder come out I started shooting it
you would not beleive the differance between these two bows
the Sidewinder has no hand shock & very quiet
it shoots a 350G arrow at 70 28.5 at 290 fps
I would say to get one to shoot for sure
now the 2007 Sidewinder pro is out & it is very nice also

High Country was recently bought by another owner and they seem to have some great stuff going for them..........
Their Iron Mace bow is shooting at 340fps with 63lbs, 315gpp, and the specs are 33" ata and 7 1/4" brace height. The limbs are laminated barnsdale limbs (among the highest quality limbs on the market), and they have a winners choice string/cable from the factory, the limbs are beyond parallel at full draw, and they are a binary style cam as well. I haven't handled one personally but they don't appear to be the same critter they used to be at least on paper.........

I shot for HCA for 7 years. 1993- 2000. When I stopped, I kept 4 bows. A Discovery (indoor target bow), Force (37 a-a) and 2 Max Forces (41 a-a). I kept them because at the time they had a great riser design. It was a long riser, very stable. I hunt with the 41" Max force, hatchet cam and use the solocam Max force as a back up. My hatchet cam bow is fast and has a great draw cycle. I'm interested in getting a new bow, brand does not matter. I'm interested in a binary cam system with a MILD reflex and at least 37" a-a. I want it to be comfortable and draw smoothly as well as shoot my hunting arrow at 275 fps. I have done no research yet. Any suggestions are welcome.

Sorry but i have to set this rumer straight the limbs have never broke while shooting light arrows, and in all the dry fire machine showings after 100s of thousands of dry fires did 1 set of limbsfail ever.It is the strings and cables that fail during the dry fire tests and once again the dry fire showing are to show how tough the components are Risers and eccentrics but you have no control over strings and cables that are fibre materials.
