so what do you all think this winter is going to do for the deer next year? and what do you thin the DNR are going to say the numbers are like compared to this year? i mean i realize with the warmer temps that more deer "should" survive and all, but do you think it will help with the overall health of the herd?

I think it will remain fairly constant. In other words, I don't see much change from this year to next.

Our number of kills here locally is down by a pretty good margin. It's been very warm, 72 on Monday. With the deer having their winder coats, I don't see much movement on those days. Less movement = fewer kills = larger herd sizes. JMO
