after my decoy getting shot Saturday (http://forum.hunting.net/bbs/topic.a...99&FORUM_ID=19)
I have been thinking about spray painting all the white parts on the decoy fluorescent orange. I've seen a couple of pictures of decoys done like this, but I'm just worried about how the deer might see it.
of course, if somebody will sit there and look at a decoy for 20 minutes before shooting it, I don't know if the orange will do any good or not
any opinions?

I only use my decoy during archery season. And mine has a orange carry strap for safety taking it in & out of the woods. I don't know if I'd go spraying it with paint this time of year. Maybe in the offseason, and let the paint smell wear off. How about tieing a few orange ribbons above it in a tree!
