In Texas, with a standard hunting license (49 dollars) you can take up to 5 deer with no more than 2 bucks. There are a couple counties in deep south Tx. where you can take 3 bucks. If you like, you can take 5 doe. There are a few counties with lower limits. This is done Sept. 27 to Jan 19.

3 weeks and 4 weeks during rifle season. For a doe tag you must be a draw and there are only 2000 issued. And you can only shoot one deer per year.( we only have 80,000 deer in the province. the price of a hunting lic is $28

Here in Minnesota we get to start the second week in September through december 31. 3 1/2 months is really nice! The bad thing is you can only shoot 1 buck regaurdles of how you take it.(archery, firearms, muzzleloader) once you've got one, you're done!

PRACTICE....PRACTICE....PRACTICE......SUCCESS!

In Iowa, Oct. 1st - Nov. 30th. Archery only with 2 weeks of that being shared with black powder. You get 1 tag, either sex. If your a landowner, you get 2 tags, either sex. The landowner tag is $1.00. The regular tag is $26.00. In Dec., we have 2 different shotgun seasons, usually 5 to 7 days each. Then in Jan. we have a bonus antlerless season. Any weapon, does only. antlerless seasons are limited to the southern counties and quotas differ from 1 county to the next. My county has 400 antlerless tags to fill this year. $11.00 each. So as a resident landowner hunter, I can take 2 bucks and as many does as I want to buy tags for during the bonus season with a bow. If I where to add black powder and shotgun, I could add 2 more deer.

KEEP IT LEGAL. KEEP IT SAFE. OR WE MAY NOT GET TO KEEP IT AT ALL.

The season for Long Island NY is from October 1 through December 31. Bow only. Then shotgun season opens for a few weeks in December.

It used to be November 1 through December 31 but last year they extended it a month.
