A buddy of mine, that lives in my hometown(Ellijay, Georgia) went to Illinois a couple of weeks ago, and took a green scored nontypical --218 3/8" , which he was informed may turnout to be a new archery record for Illinois. He shot it in Schuyler at Droptine Outfitters. He has hunted there for a few years with another buddy of mine, also from Ellijay prior toi t becoming a payed hunt outfit. They hunt it without the benefit of the guides now providied to others that pay tohunt. I only mention this for the guys that are already rolling their eyes with that, 'Oh, it was a payed hunt' attitude. He ahs alreadybeen filmed onthe Limbsavers show, and when I was here at his shop looking at the rack, 3 different groups came infor photoes. I don't know the current record--I am just speaking fromwhat he was told and said to me. I don't have pics yet--I do, on my cell phone, but I don't know how to transfer tyhem to the pooter. If someone does, let me know, and I will post them. He is quite impressive, to say the least.
