Default Plowed fields

After leaving my area here in eastern TN for a week to hunt up north, I returned to find that the grassy harvested hayfields I had been hunting have been plowed over. I saw seeds in the furrows, so I am guessing that winter wheat will be growing in a bit. However, the seeds have not even been driven into the ground by a good rain yet, so I am guessing it will be a while before they begin to sprout. I have two questions. First, do you think the deer will stop coming to the fields in the evening? Of course there are still small sprouts of green and some grassy chunks after being plowed, but not like before. Also, how long would you expect before the winter wheat sprouts up? I am a hunter, but certainly not a farmer! Just curious. Thanks for the help.

Default RE: Plowed fields

It should only take a few days after your first good rain.
