Guys I simply am interested in regards to the areas you hunt.
Name yourstate or statespleaseand what you would consider an archery (whitetail ) buck of a lifetime there.
Thanks..
Here in Idaho anything over 150 gross score thats 4 years or older.
Oh and if you've already arrowed him..Post those pics !

my buck of a life time would be at least a 35 point non-typical
but around here, a nice symetrical 8 or 10 point is VERY nice, at least in my area of PA. unfortunatly i have not been able to arrow one yet.i had a nice 8 standing 10 yds in front of me but he wouldnt step out from behind the brush.[:@] ill get him next year......

The area here in Central Oklahoma I hunt; I would say a nice 10 or 12 point 130" would be really nice. Actually that is about the biggest I have ever heard of coming from this area. So I would be very happy with buck of that caliber. Oh heck I am happy with the 100" 8 point I shot this year.

Considering the areas we hunt are nearly identical as far as habitat and nutrition go, I would say 150 gross score and four years or older is about right, Troy.
We actually know of a typical 6x6 running around our property that would probably push 160 or so, I just haven't had the opportunity to get a good look at him myself.

In all honesty to be a "buck of a lifetime" in my mind for what Ohio can produce is 180+.
I won't quit until I take a 200+ gross buck.... I may die trying but tryI might....

For the UP, any Pope and Young deer for me would be a dream. 140+ would be even more extraordinary.
For where I hunt in IL, I would say 170" and above. I saw two this year that were pushing that mark, just couldn't get themclose enough. I would be more proud of a 140" UP buck though I think.
