Interesting.
If states are seriously eager to increase hunting numbers, why not just issue more tags instead of lowering the minimum age?

Better yet.... If hunting is in such decline, how about finally allowing the states that can't hunt on a Sunday (due to the stupid, archaic, colonial "Blue Law") be able to go out on a Sunday like the 43 other states!!!! [:@]

I know license sales are on the decline but it sure feels like there are more bowhunters then ever where I hunt.

I see more hunters than deer sometimes. I think the loss of habitat exceeds the loss of hunters. In other words, the number of hunters per square mile of available hunting land is probably increasing even though the absolute number of hunters is declining.
