What a set of brow tines! If I recall correctly, aren't you from the Robinson area? I wish those genetics would make it a bit down further south... we sometimes get one brow tine about two inches long and a nub for the other one. My one from a couple years ago would have probably made book if he'd had some decent brow tines...
I was expecting you to be holding a two-and-a-half year old after reading your story... but I'd be he's at least a three-year-old after looking at the pic!

Rob, I am expecting pictures next season of that one you passed on this season.....he should be a whopper.
MQ1Shooter, yes I am from the Robinson area. He has nice brow tines but by my measurements he will be shy of making the book after the drying period and deductions. I sure would have loved to have gottent a shot at the one I jumped the other day.........he was easily a 155-160 class buck.
jjimmy, he will be on my wall.....but on a wooden plaque, not as a shoulder mount and I will be just as proud.

Cougar my friend, that is a fine looking buck, ya done did good this year, Congrats to ya. Our rifle season ends Dec 1 and bow season ends Feb 28, so I am hoping to fill my two buck tags by then. If all goes well, I will be able to show you a good one.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
