My son has bowhunted with me many times (he is 11yrs old)and saw dad
take a doe this year with a bow. This last weekend was a special youth
only hunt and my Dad and him hunted together and he got a 7 point with
the shotgun ,that both my Dad and myself used to kill our first deer.It was
one of the greatest moments of my life.He said now I want to get one with a bow.He is hooked for life I know, and I hope he never loses his passion for the outdoors and can pass it on for another generation.

I tell you what, as a guy who isn't that old, being only 20, I can't even start to express how blessed I was to have a grandfather who was willing to take me to the woods whenever i was willing to go. I shot my first deer when i was 12 and I have been hooked ever since. I know that when i have kids they will spend as much time in the woods with me as they please...its the only way to keep the sport alive
