Would you wash your clothes or leave them the way they are?

Would you wash your clothes or leave them the way they are?
On Friday, I was blessed to take a huge buck that had to be a pretty dominant buck in the area. Well I shot him directly after he made a scrape and he smelled like a real stinky rutting buck. My Scent Blocker camo smells really strong right now and I was going to wash it but this Saturday is opening of Rifle season. I don't plan to hunt in the same county for this opening morning of rifle season. I was curious if you guys would wash it to try to be scent free or leave that musky smell on there and hunt that way? You can't really beat the real thing can you?

I think I would leave the "real" smell on it for now.
I usually only wash mine when I feel that they've got sweaty.
Now if you got them bloody or something, that might be another story, but having the smell of a real deer on you couldn't hurt in my opinion.

Personally I would wash it. I had the same thing happen when I shot my buck a few weeks ago. My clothes reeked like rutting buck scent - I washed them that night and locked them back up in their scent proof bag. You spend the extra coin on the Scent Blocker clothing, use it to it's full advantage.
One thing you might want to look into doing in the future is cutting off the tarsal glands and hanging/dragging them if you want to use the scent as an attractant. Just make sure you wear a pair of rubber gloves when you do it, and store them in a plastic bag. They're stinky buggers.

I don't know if it is the right thing to do, but I always wash mine after a kill, but then there is blood on mine too. If it was just the musky smell, I might not since you are going back so soon. But there again, like it has already been said, better no smell than chance the musky smell has changed on you.

Leave 'em stinky , the next buck that smells it may think that you're an intruding buck and come running to stomp...er...check you out .

i would wash the clothing. the only reason why i would is because it could scare other deer away. due to the buckbeing a dominant buck. but if it was a young buck i would leave the smell.
